About the Position

The Front Desk Attendant is our first line of contact with many callers and visitors, establishing an initial and lasting impression of our company. A primary role of the Front Desk Attendant is to provide a positive image of our company through kindness, professionalism, and integrity. This includes answering incoming phone calls throughout the day and helping callers and visitors connect with the people who can best help them. As a full time employee, the Front Desk Attendant will work with the (COO or Executive Assistant) to assist with administrative or organizational tasks.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Here are some examples of what you could expect to do as part of this position:

  • Have a thorough understanding of the company to accurately and efficiently direct callers and visitors to the correct contact
  • Manage an average of 40 calls a day, maintaining multiple conversations at the same time while finding the right contact for callers
  • Take responsibility for the office entry area by:
    • Following security procedures regarding visitor access
    • Keeping it safe, clean, and professional
    • Exhibiting professional appearance and conduct
  • Contribute to team efforts by filling in with miscellaneous tasks, including occasional scanning and faxing
