CoNetrix Technology announced the availability of its Microsoft 365 Benchmark Management service, a managed offering designed to help organizations maintain alignment with Center for Internet Security (CIS) Benchmarks and strengthen the security of their Microsoft 365 environments.
Microsoft 365 has become a core business platform for many organizations, making it a frequent target for cyber threats. Misconfigured settings can create security gaps that affect email, file storage, authentication processes, and sensitive data. Through Microsoft 365 Benchmark Management, CoNetrix Technology performs monthly benchmark reviews of a customer's Microsoft 365 tenant and works to address identified configuration gaps.
As part of the service, CoNetrix Technology conducts monthly scans against applicable CIS Benchmarks. When benchmark requirements are not met, the team either remediates the issue or documents compensating controls and business justifications. Customers receive detailed reporting outlining benchmark compliance status, findings, and remediation progress.
The service is designed to support organizations facing ongoing changes within their Microsoft 365 environments, including workforce transitions, new application integrations, and the adoption of technologies such as AI tools. It also helps organizations maintain awareness of newly released CIS Benchmarks and their relationship to compliance frameworks including FFIEC, GLBA, NIST, and SOC 2.
For financial institutions, monthly benchmark management may contribute to stronger Microsoft 365 Assessment outcomes and improved readiness for FFIEC IT examinations.
