Carl’s love for electronics began when he was a teenager with stereos, turntables, amplifiers, and speaker wire draped around the family basement. He began work at CoNetrix in 2005 as an information security auditor and consultant, where he performed audits of financial institutions, encompassing the administrative, technical, and physical security aspects of the environment. Carl now serves as the Chief Operations Officer at CoNetrix where he continues to encourage the use of technology and provide on-going security education.

Leticia manages the support team for Tandem, an Information Security and Compliance Software suite by CoNetrix. Leticia earned a B.A. and M.A. in Mathematics and has been part of the Information Security industry for over six years. Leticia oversees Tandem Support as they advocate for customer education and product quality. In her free time, she enjoys mentoring college students, teaching young children to read, and solving jigsaw puzzles.

Community financial institutions rely heavily on vendors, and it is important to consider the risk associated with these third parties. In this session, you will learn effective methods to manage vendor selection, contracts, due diligence documentation (e.g. Financial Statements and SOC Reports), and ongoing oversight.

Brady has more than 15 years of professional experience in software development, information security, network management, database administration, and technical support. He led the initial design and development of the Tandem software project for CoNetrix.  He currently serves as the Vice President of Tandem. Brady holds a B.B.A. degree in Computer Information Systems from West Texas A&M University and an M.S.B.A. degree in Management Information Systems from Texas Tech University.

Ed serves as the Assistant Director of CoNetrix Security, providing information security and cybersecurity services. He earned a B.S. in Mathematics, an M.S. in Information Systems Security, and served four years as an Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Air Force. Ed’s passion for technology has followed many paths, including sysop of a bulletin board system (BBS), running a mini-network in the desert, network and security admin, IT auditor, and technology history enthusiast. Ed takes pride in being a husband, father, and son.
